käselotti: Gemischtes aus meiner Werkstatt

Momentan bin ich jeden Tag in meiner Werkstatt und arbeite fleißig. Hier ein paar Dinge, die in den letzen Tagen entstanden sind. Eine Serie Katzenbörsen macht den Anfang. Die 10 Mops-Börsen, die ich davor genäht habe, hab ich gar nicht dokumentiert, aber zwei davon sind auch schon unterwegs nach England und Finnland. :)

These days I'm really busy in my little workshop. Here a few pictures of the things I made lately. A series of cat purses to begin with... (The pug purses I sew before that were not photographed but some of them are already sold and on their way to customers in England and Finland. :))

Wir hatten in diesem Jahr unglaubliches Glück mit unseren Tomatenpflanzen auf dem Balkon. Wir haben sie aber auch gehegt und gepflegt! Wir können schon seit Wochen fast täglich ernten und wenn man ein paar Tage wartet, reicht die Ausbeute auch für eine frische Tomatensoße! Thore hat lecker gekocht! :)

We were really lucky with our tomato plants this year. However, we were nursing them pretty much! We are harvesting for some weeks now nearly each day, but if you wait a few days, the yield will be enough for a juicy tomato sauce. Thore cooked a delicious meal! :)

Da mache ich doch gern mal eine Pause... Gestärkt geht's dann auch gut weiter! Ich hatte ja vor kurzem schon von meiner Idee erzählt... Den Stoff dafür habe ich am Sonntag schon bestellt, aber die Lieferung wird noch ein paar Tage dauern, darum habe ich mich in der Zwischenzeit schonmal um die Verpackung gekümmert. Die Nähpakete "Robin" und "Meise", die ich ja schon relativ lange im Programm habe, bekommen Zuwachs und es wird in Kürze auch Nähpakete für Broschen mit Fuchs, Mops und Katze geben. Die bisherige Verpackung war immer etwas unpraktisch, darum habe ich mir etwas Neues ausgedacht. Die Pakete kommen in kleine Tütchen mit Sichtfenster (damit die Tierchen auch mal rausgucken können), die in verschiedenen Farben handbedruckt sind.

I told you about my new idea a few days ago. I ordered the fabric for the new products on Sunday, but the delivery will take about two weeks. So, in the meantime, I prepared the packaging for the little sewing kits. I already have two sewing kits in my product range - a robin and a blue tit brooch kit. Now there will be three more animal brooches. A pug, a cat and a fox will join the two birds. The previous packaging was kind of problematic so I thought about something new. The sewing kits will be packed in little paper bags with a window (so the animals can look outside now and then), that are hand printed in different colours.
