Hier einige Eindrücke vom besondersschönen Markt vom Sonntag. Thore hat fleißig geknipst, woraufhin diese spannenden Fotos vom Aufbau des Marktes entstanden sind. Mein Stand war klein aber fein und wieder durfte ich viele nette Leute treffen!

Viele Grüße an Kirsten, die Christine von der Stoffelei am Nebenstand kräftig unterstützte und die gerade einen interessanten kleinen Blog über Kinderprodukte gestartet hat.

Und an das faule Mädchen Mara - wir hatten uns schon bei Designachten im letzten Dezember getroffen, aber erst jetzt Gelegenheit, mal ein bißchen zu schnacken...

Here some impressions from the besondersschön market on Sunday. Thore took some nice photos of the setup of the market. My booth was small but fine and again I had the chance to meet many nice people!

Greetings to Kirsten, who helped Christine of the Stoffelei in the booth next to me. She just started a nice little Blog about kids' products.

Also some greetings to the lazy girl Mara - we already met last December but had no opportunity to chat until now...

Gutes Geschäft...

Obwohl ich gar nicht so gern Röcke trage, hatten es mir diese Farben doch sofort angetan... Also habe ich in Würzburg mit Kristin von der Frühlingsstrasse einen kleinen Deal gemacht. Rock plus Button gegen Tasche. Und weil sie meinen eigenen schon leicht abgeschrabbelten Hipbag am schönsten fand, hab ich ihr heute einen neuen genäht. Und wenn ich dann mal irgendwann selbständig bin und nicht immer im Dunkeln nähen muss, mach ich euch auch schönere Fotos bei Tageslicht...

I don't like wearing skirts that much but I was at once caught by these colours. So I made a little deal with Kristin of Frühlingsstrasse in Würzburg last weekend. A bag for a skirt and a button. She liked my own hipbag the best, so I sewed her a new one today. And some day, when I'm a freelancer who's no longer forced to sew in the dark, I will take some nicer pictures for you - in daylight...

Das war toll!

Völlig begeistert bin ich von einem schönen Wochenende in Würzburg zurück. Nicht nur hatten wir den ganzen Tag strahlendes Wetter (wenn man mal von dem endzeitlichen Wolkenbruch kurz vor Schluss absieht...), auch waren alle Verkäufer und auch das Publikum supernett! Es war zwar nicht immer voll, aber es hat sich doch auf jeden Fall gelohnt, weil ich soo viele nette Leute getroffen habe! Neben dem Markttreiben konnten wir auch noch einer Cheerleader-Übungsstunde und einem Breakdance-Workshop beiwohnen. Großartig!

Just returned from a great weekend in Würzburg. The weather was bright (if you disregard the end time cloudburst just before closing time...), and all the sellers and the visitors were very kind. It wasn't such a busy market but it was worth all the while, as I met so many nice people! And we could watch a cheerleaders' training and a breakdance workshop. Great!

Ab in den Süden!!

Die Vorbereitungen für den {herr}Pfeffer Geburtstagsmarkt in Würzburg laufen auf Hochtouren. Habe in der letzten Woche schon eine neue Tischdecke genäht und einen Garderobenständer bestellt und am Wochenende kam dann noch ein kleines Logo-Banner dazu, das ich flexibel auf die Tischdecke heften kann. Da es jetzt doch so aussieht, als würde ich in Würzburg am Samstag ein Dach über dem Kopf brauchen, habe ich auch noch eine Tasche für meinen Pavillon genäht, denn schließlich muss ich alles allein im Zug transportieren. Da ist so ein halb zerfledderter Karton eher unpraktisch... Naja, ich hoffe trotzdem noch auf Sonne!

The preparations for the craft show in Würzburg are getting into the crucial phase. Last week I sewed a new tablecloth and ordered a coat rack. At the weekend I added a little logo banner that I can fix to the cloth where I finally need it. As the weather is working against me, that's what it looks like at the moment, I will need to take my outdoor pavillon with me. Now, a cardboard box in a more or less desperate condition won't be a good help for me having to transport everything by myself on the train. So I sewed a new bag for the pavillon. But I'm still hoping for sunny weather!

Fette Beute

Vom Wochenendtrip zu meinen Eltern konnte ich nicht nur reichlich Gemüse aus dem Gewächshaus, von Mama selbstgekochtes Apfelmus und Apfelmarmelade (köstlich!) mit nach Hause nehmen, sondern auch ein sehr praktisches Möbelstück.

I could not only take home tons of vegetables from the greenhouse and selfmade (by mom) applesauce and apple marmelade (delicious!) from a weekend trip to my parents, but also a very useful piece of furniture.
