mal wieder Abschlussschwäche...

So viele angefangene Näh-Projekte hatten sich angehäuft, dass ich dieses Wochenende wahrscheinlich nur mit fertigmachen verbringen werde. Einiges hab ich schon geschafft...

So many unfinished sewing projects have accumulated in my workshop, so that I will spend this weekend finishing them... Some things are already done...

hello hello handmade!

Da bin ich wieder zurück vom hello handmade markt auf dem Kampnagel. Wie auch schon letztes Mal waren viele tolle und spannende Aussteller zu sehen und ich konnte an der einen oder anderen Kleinigkeit nicht vorbeigehen... Der Bär ist von catmade und der Aufnäher von gutschigutschi. Leider war mein Geld alle, bevor ich mir noch mehrere Poster von Phillip Janta kaufen konnte...

Back again from the hello handmade market. Like the year before, there were a lot of nice and interesting exhibitors to be seen. I couldn't help buying some things. The little bear brooch is from catmade and the patch from gutschigutschi. Unfortunately I ran out of money before I could buy some of the gorgeous posters printed by Phillip Janta...

Mal wieder Stoffmarkt...

Heute war mal wieder Stoffmarkt in Alsterdorf. Da ich mein Budget gleich entsprechend hoch gewählt habe, hab ich es auch nur minimal überschritten...

Vögelchen-Mobile

Lena von den Formfreunden fragte mich, ob es die Vögelchen auch als Mobile geben wird. Eine Gute Idee finde ich. Hab ich gleich mal ausprobiert. Wie findet ihr es ?

Lena of the Formfreunde asked me, whether the little birds will be also available as a mobile. I liked the idea and tried it out at once. What do you think?

Versprechen eingelöst!

Vor gefühlten 10 Jahren habe ich der Judi einen Gutschein für eine Tasche ihrer Wahl geschenkt. Nun habe ich es endlich geschafft, diese auch zu nähen. Sie hatte sich eine neue Version einer ihrer Lieblingstaschen gewünscht, also habe ich den Schnitt abgenommen und drauflos genäht. Viele, viele kleine Handgriffe, aber das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen, finde ich. :o)

A very long time ago I gave Judi a gift coupon for a bag of her choice as a birthday present. Now I finally managed to sew this bag. She desired a new version of one of her favourite bags, so I copied the pattern and sewed. Many, many little hand movements but it was worth it, I think. :o)

Ich bin momentan so fleißig, dass ich eine ganze Menge Stoffreste produziere. Da ich immer darauf bedacht bin, dass die Stoffstücke, die ich wegwerfe, möglichst klein sind, hab ich mir mal ein neues Schnittmuster zur Resteverwertung gebastelt. Was da noch an Fetzen übrigbleibt, kann ich dann ja noch für Buttons verwenden...

I'm so productive at the moment, that a lot of waste fabric accumulates in my workshop. As I want the pieces I have to throw away to be as small as possible, I created a new pattern to use some of the waste fabric. Any piece that is still left, I can later use for producing buttons...

Heute bin ich wieder nach Hamburg zurückgefahren, 42 neue Taschen im Gepäck... Zwei habe ich direkt in der Heimat bei neuen Besitzern gelassen, die anderen wandern gleich noch in den Shop.

Today I returned to Hamburg with 42 new little cases. Two of the new series stayed in my hometown with their new owners. The others will be in the shop soon.
