Hier eine kleine Anleitung:
Zuerst hab ich mir eine Schriftart gesucht, die möglichst kompliziert auszuschneiden ist (einfach wäre ja langweilig und die Schrift hat mich total geflasht - Yeee-ha!),...

Here a short how-to:

... printed it out and glued it to cardboard, to cut a stencil out of it.
Die wird auf dem Stoff fixiert, und mit einem Schablonierpinsel (von Idee) und Acrylfarbe...
... entsteht dann der Schriftzug in weiß auf grau.

Das Gleiche natürlich für den zweiten Handschuh.

Nun kommen die Innenseiten: zwei Lagen Watte zwischen zwei Lagen Baumwollstoff. Als Schnittmuster habe ich einen alten Topfhandschuh "abgepaust". Für bessere Festigkeit kann man ich die vier Lagen rautenförmig absteppen. Wenn man vorher einmal die Aussenkanten mit dem Zickzackstich umrundet, sind die Lagen ganz gut fixiert verrutschen nicht so sehr beim steppen.
Now the inner sides: Two layers of wadding between two layers of cotton. The pattern I copied from an old oven glove. For better firmness it is recommended to quilt the four layers in two directions. If you circle the layers with the zigzag stich before quilting, they won't shift so much.
Punktemuster eignen sich super zum Absteppen.
Dotted patterns are very appropriate for quilting.
Für die Aussenseiten habe ich das Gleiche gemacht, allerdings nur mit einer Lage Watte und Vlieseline auf der Seite, wo nachhher noch der bedruckte Stoff dazukommmt. Diese Lage kann man dann am Besten auch noch einmal mit Zickzack am Futter befestigen.
The same for the outer sides, but with only one layer of wadding and Vilene on the side where the printed fabric will be added after the quilting. The printed denim can be fixed to the quilted part with the zigzag stitch again.
Nun beide Hälften zusammennähen und Nahtkanten versäubern. Wenn man will, kann man auch noch ein Aufhängerband mit in die Naht einnähen. Wichtig: Die Nahtzugabe zwischen Daumen und Fingerteil tief enschneiden, damit es später nicht so knittert.
Now join the two halves and cast the seam allowance. If you like, you can also add a hanger loop into the seam. Important: maka a deep cut into the seam allowance between the thumb and the finger part, so it won't crumple later.
Umkrempeln und schonmal freuen, weil alles geklappt hat. Die untere Kante wird dann noch mit einem Schrägband eingefasst. Fertig!
Now it's time to turn the glove inside out and to rejoice because everything worked. The last selvage has to be girded with bias binding at last. Done!
